The Arabic Language Institute is an educational facility that certifies students in Classical and Modern Standard Arabic. The primary function of the Arabic Language Institute is to meet the global demand of the Arabic language by providing innovative tools and techniques in the learning process that will allow students to attain a level of proficiency in Arabic based on the standards and guidelines of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL).
The Student Sponsorship Program is an educational find established by the Bureau of Indigenous Muslim Affairs (BIMA). This educational fund makes it possible for us to fulfill our mission at the Arabic Language Institute by providing the necessary financial support to low-income students. Contributors to the Student Sponsorship Program support the education of academically, talented students and leave an invaluable impact on the lives of the students that they sponsor.
The Bureau of Indigenous Muslim Affairs is a non-profit organization whose objective is to provide social and economic development to indigenous Muslims in the United States of America. The Bureau of Indigenous Muslim Affairs provides Islamic Education ranging from Basic Skills for Life, Leadership Training, Hands-On Workshops & Clinics, and Community Outreach Programs.

Moreover, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) informed us in a narration collected by Imam Ahmad, “that every person will be shaded by his/her charity on the Day of Resurrection…”

Make a donation less than $250 to the general sponsorship fund
Students that qualify for the sponsorship program will be placed in one of the following programs:
Students between the ages of 5 and 13 will learn both Arabic and Quranic Studies once a week for three (3) hours either on Saturday or Sunday on one (1) month intervals. Students will learn Arabic and Quran the natural way through hands-on learning and audio/visual supplementary materials.
Students between the ages 14 and 30 will learn how to read and write Arabic proficiently as well as communicate effectively. Students will study Conversational Arabic twice a week for three (3) hours per class on six (6) week intervals. Students will have the opportunity to develop both interpretive and interpersonal communication skills in Arabic by focusing on the following skills: conversation, listening, reading comprehension, grammar, and writing composition.
All funds solicited through the Arabic Language Institute Student Sponsorship Program will go towards student registration and tuition, books and materials, student enrichment, and testing.
Sponsors may request student progress assessment reports and grades from students accepted into the sponsorship program.
Elementary, middle, and high school students between the ages of 5 and 18
Currently enrolled college students between the ages of 18 and 30
Currently enrolled students in vocational or technical institutions between the ages of 18 and 30
Students having a demonstrable financial need
Students must maintain an average of 70% in all courses of study

Submit a copy of documentation demonstrating a valid financial need
