The new semester is beginning with two (2) featured course: Quranic Reading with Tajweed and Arabic For Sisters Only. Moreover, the Student Sponsorship Program is a great opportunity for those who are not able to study Arabic at the moment to Sponsor A Student. The previous year we started with two (2) levels expanding to seven (7) levels. Furthermore, there were a total of 76 students that completed at least one level of Arabic studies.

Sibawaih Grammar Program

Forty-eight (48) of intensive Arabic grammar. Twenty-three (23) dedicated students spent their summer weekends learning a portion of the renowned treatise of al-Ajoorumiyyah. Students were introduced to basic concepts of Arabic grammar comprising of both an-Nahw (syntax) and as-Sarf (morphology). Furthermore, students were challenged in class with Quranic verses and Prophetic statements so that the concepts they were taught become more applied and visible to the students.


Youth Summer Camp

Youth Summer Camp

twenty-two (22) students between the ages of 5 and 13 spent seven weeks (Monday through Friday) at the Arabic Language Institute learning Quran, Arabic, and Islamic Studies. Moreover, students stayed abreast with academic studies through summer bridge activities around math, science, English, and social studies. Students were engaged in daily recreational activities and they also had the opportunity to travel to the Newark Museum for the Dynamic Earth exhibit, Newark Screens cinema to see Cars 2, and spend a day at Bowcraft Amusement Park.
