Our Mission Statement

The Arabic Language Institute (A.L.I.) is an educational facility that certifies students in both Classical and Modern Standard Arabic. The primary function of A.L.I. is to meet the global demand of the Arabic language by providing students with innovative tools and techniques allowing them to attain a level of proficiency in the Arabic language based on the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) guidelines.

The similitude of the Arabic language resembles a house that is made from sugarcane and whose door is made of steal. It is difficult to enter; however, once in everything else is easy.

Student Sponsorship Program

The Arabic Language Institute Student Sponsorship Program is an educational fund established to provide the necessary financial support to low-income students in elementary school, middle school, high school, or any higher learning institution. Mastering the Arabic Language

Knowing another language enriches your personal life, expands the range of professional opportunities open to you, and increases your power to function as a citizen in a multilingual world.

Learning the Language of the Quran

the purpose of this workshop is to demonstrate to students how they can better understand the Quran in Arabic, the language in which it was revealed. Arabic is one of the Islamic Sciences and it is a prerequisite for learning the Quran.

Arabic: A Living Language

the purpose of this workshop is to demonstrate that Arabic is a living language by providing exhibitions and presentations from the current student body. Students will demonstrate what they learned through reading and writing, vocabulary building, and conversational skits.

Enhancing Student Study Skills

the purpose of this workshop is to provide hands-on demonstrations showing students how to study the Arabic language. The workshop includes demonstrations on listening with comprehension, reading with expression, basic grammar rules, dictionary usage, and technological instructional methods.

Arabic Grammar Demonstrations

the purpose of this workshop is to present basic grammatical concepts pertaining to An-Nahw (syntax) and As-Sarf (etymology). The workshop will also include a basic understanding of the language of I’raab (sentence analogy) and word morphology using the Hans-Wehr Dictionary.
